Dr. Clay A. Kahler is one of our volunteer professors who is the founder of Sharing the Word Ministries, which includes the radio program, Sharing the Word, heard in Ray County Missouri. He serves as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Orrick Missouri. He loves teaching theology at Carver Baptist Bible College. Clay has written for Preaching Magazine, Christianity Today and To His Glory, as well as a number of other journals and periodicals. He is the author of three books and his fourth was just released in March of 2007.

Clay has served as the President of the San Diego County Southern Baptist Pastor's Association, on faculty at Southern California Bible College, on faculty at the Southwest College of Biblical Studies, and is currently serving as President of the American Society of Law Enforcement Chaplains.

Clay has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern California Bible College, two Master's degrees from the Southern California Seminary, a Doctor of Divinity from Ridgewood College of Biblical Studies, and a Ph.D. from Northeastern Theological Seminary.
