James DeJong served as the Academic Dean of the Bible College and Institute and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity and teaches part-time at Carver. He teaches mission and Bible courses at both the College and Institute.
He has served as a missionary in Kenya, East Africa for 16 years. Ten of those years where spent as a mission's teacher at Scott Theological College. In addition to teaching he also oversaw the Field Education department for the Seminary. He is presently serving under Africa Inland Mission and is on loan to CBBC & I. During the summer, he returns to Kenya to teach in World Reach's pastoral training program.
Mr. DeJong holds a Bachelor degree in Construction Management from John Brown University in Arkansas and a Masters in Intercultural Studies (Missions) from CIU (Columbia International University) of Columbia, SC. |
