       Dr. Dean Chasteen is our President Emeritus.

He served for 20 years in the Central African Republic as a missionary under Baptist Mid Missions.  Upon returning to the USA, he served as President of Carver for 20 years before moving into semi-retirement.  He continues to teach and provide administrative services as his schedule and health allows.
