   Carver's Vice-President is Dr. Aaron Lavender who also serves as the Director of Seminary Studies and as Professor of Pastoral Ministries on the faculty.  Dr. Lavender has been the senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church on Paseo Blvd, Kansas City for the past 18 years.

Pastor Lavender is a graduate of Carver Bible College of Atlanta, Georgia, and received both his Master of Ministry and his Doctor of Ministry degrees from Covington Theological Seminary in Rossville, Georgia.  He is presently close to securing his Ph.D. in Expository Preaching.

Dr. Lavender served as the President of the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship Association from 1990 to 1994.  Since his arrival in Kansas City, he continues to serve as Vice President of the Carver Baptist Bible College and Institute.  As a faculty member there he serves as Professor of Pastoral Ministries and Church Leadership.  

Under his able leadership Grace Baptist Church has moved from a much smaller facility to the building they now occupy; the budget has grown phenomenally, the membership has quadrupled, the pastoral staff is growing and they have seen quality and quantity growth in most of their ministry areas. 

He is a man who is an able administrator, given to organization and a gifted writer.  Dr. Lavender is one of the ablest and most dynamic Bible expositors in America today.  Many pastors of local churches in this city have indicated that they look forward to the Grace Baptist Radio broadcast to hear Dr. Lavender.  He is in much demand to speak at churches and conferences across America.
