Pastor James Smith comes to us as a missionary with the Evangelical Baptist Missions.  He has a Bachelor of Religious Education from Grand Rapids Baptist College and is currently pursuing a Master of Ministry with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling. 

Pastor Smith has years of experience serving first as a church planter in Toledo, Ohio and then as a church planter in Kansas City.  In addition to teaching at CBBC, he also serves First Regular Baptist Church with preaching, teaching and family ministries.

Pastor Smith and his wife conduct marriage and family seminars and retreats, both locally and regionally.  They are also sought after for marriage counseling and mentoring.
